Aircraft Exterior Display Model Production Plan

I. Main Body Forming Stage
Frame Construction Process
The wings are CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy to perfectly replicate the subtle curvature of the winglets.
The main body is vacuum-molded from composite resin material with a carbon fiber reinforcement frame embedded inside.
The landing gear is precision-etched from stainless steel to reproduce the actual shock absorber hydraulic pipe structure.
Surface Finishing Process
The entire model undergoes five stages of sandpaper polishing (gradually progressing from 400-grit to 2000-grit).
The skin seams are micro-engraved to recreate the rivet array.
The flap track slots are laser-microengraved.
II. Detail Enhancement Process
Avionics system reproduction
Windshield made using optical-grade acrylic thermal forming
Navigation light assembly consists of 3D-printed transparent optical fiber components
In-flight refueling probe made from brass turned parts and hand-polished
Power unit representation
Engine intake equipped with honeycomb-shaped metal filter
The exhaust nozzle uses a gradient electroplating process to simulate high-temperature oxidation
The reverse thrust mechanism hinge can mechanically open and close by 15 degrees
III. Paint Art Treatment
Base Coat System
Three-layer primer treatment (Epoxy primer → Intermediate primer → Micro-filler primer)
Main color applied using aviation-specific polyurethane magnetic paint
Airframe markings applied using screen printing combined with water transfer printing technology
Special effect treatments
Leading edge skin aged to simulate aerodynamic wear
Engine compartment coated with thermal barrier coating effect paint
Landing gear compartment interior hand-painted with hydraulic oil stain marks
