Fire Truck Model Manufacturing Plan
I. Main Structure Manufacturing
Chassis Forming: 1mm galvanised steel plates are laser cut and processed into a trapezoidal chassis structure using a micro bending machine.
Cab Assembly: The cab shell is ABS injection moulded, with a 3D-printed instrument panel assembly embedded inside.
Water Tank Shaping: A CNC milling machine mills the curved surface of the water tank from an aerospace aluminium block.
II. Functional Component Construction
Ladder System: 304 stainless steel tubes are precision-brushed and assembled into a ten-section retractable miniature ladder.
Emergency Light Assembly: Transparent acrylic is machined into an emergency light housing, with an embedded LED lighting module.
Reel mechanism: Brass wire is wound into a 1:30 scale water hose reel
III. Surface Treatment Process
Primer treatment: The entire vehicle is electrostatic spray-painted with grey epoxy primer
Colour separation spraying:
The main colour uses fire-red polyurethane paint
Warning stripes are applied using a masking spray technique
Aged effect: Metal colour powder is dry-brushed on edges to simulate wear marks
