Production of Chemical Process Demonstration Model

This is a production case of a chemical process demonstration model, focusing on describing the production process, material selection, and post-processing, striving to restore a real industrial scene. This model is used for process display and customer communication, and the production process needs to balance structural accuracy and visual realism.

The model making process is divided into four stages:

Design disassembly and material preparation stage: Based on the process flow diagram and on-site equipment photos provided by the customer, conduct 3D modeling and disassembly to clarify the proportions and connection relationships of each component. High strength aluminum alloy profiles are selected as the frame foundation, paired with blue painted metal plates and transparent acrylic plates; The tank body is made of high-density PVC foam board, and the piping system uses green and red PE hoses and brass hard pipes. Valves and instruments are made of 304 stainless steel etched parts.

Main structure and tank production stage: CNC precision cutting of aluminum alloy profiles is used to assemble the base and blue frame, ensuring that the structure is stable and consistent with the actual proportion. The tank body is processed into a cylindrical shape from PVC foam board through hot bending technology, and seamlessly bonded with acrylic special solvent glue. The surface of the tank body is polished and polished to ensure no obvious joints. Some tanks are embedded with high transparency organic glass windows to display the internal oil-water separation process.

Pipeline system and detailed assembly stage: Based on the actual pipeline route, metal hoses and brass hard pipes are combined for wiring, simulating complex structures such as elbows and tees. All valves, pressure gauges, and flange connections are precision etched or cast parts, installed one by one and adjusted in angle to ensure consistency with the actual product. Perform pressure testing simulation on the pipeline system to ensure no leaks and smooth flow.

Post coloring and overall debugging stage: After rust prevention treatment, all metal components are sprayed with industrial blue, warning yellow, and red colors consistent with the customer's factory equipment. The surface of the tank is treated with matte finish to avoid reflection that affects the appearance. The electronic control system integrates a touch screen and indicator lights to simulate real operating conditions. Finally, conduct overall cleaning and detail inspection to ensure that the model restoration degree reaches over 90%.

This model successfully reproduces the complex structure and operational logic of chemical oil-water separation systems through meticulous craftsmanship and real material selection. It is not only used for customer visits and demonstrations, but also as an internal training tool to help employees intuitively understand the process flow. During the model making process, attention is paid to details and accurate proportions to ensure that each component can withstand close observation, reflecting the high level of professional model making.
