Industrialised Production Standards for Helicopter Models

1. Main Structure Production
Fuselage Forming
The main frame is CNC-machined from aluminium alloy, and the cabin door frame lines are deepened using a 0.3mm engraving knife.
Composite skin: glass fibre cloth and epoxy resin are laminated in layers, with each layer alternating between 0.1mm thicknesses.
Rotary Wing System
The main rotor blades feature an aluminium alloy core wrapped in an ABS aerodynamic housing, with a 0.05mm copper foil anti-corrosion strip adhered to the leading edge
Micro bearings are embedded at the hub joints to ensure a pitch angle adjustment range of ±15°
2. Avionics System Reproduction
Cockpit Details
The instrument panel features UV printing to simulate an LCD screen effect, with backlighting using SMD0402 surface-mounted LEDs
Seat belts are made from genuine leather scraps, with buckles formed by bending etched copper plates
External Attachments
Weapon mounts are cast using the lost-wax method, with a phosphating treatment applied to the surface
Rescue winch cables use 0.2mm diameter silver-plated copper wire braiding
III. Surface Treatment Process
Pre-treatment stage
Entire aircraft sandblasted (120-grit glass beads) to remove mould lines
Groove areas coated with pen eraser clay to protect details
Painting system
Primer: Two-component epoxy primer (grey) applied via electrostatic spraying
Camouflage application: Water-based paint applied in layers through perforated templates, with feathered edges
Logo transfer: Water decals soaked and applied, edges smoothed with a cotton swab dipped in Mr.Mark Softer
Weathering effects
Engine exhaust ports: First sprayed with black iron colour, then dry-brushed with titanium gold powder
Rain erosion marks: Created using the salting method, focusing on the area under the rotor blades where airflow washes over
4. Dynamic component assembly
Main rotor blade balancing adjustment: Apply lead powder adhesive to the tip of each blade for balance
Landing gear hydraulic rods: Incorporate 0.5mm springs for cushioning effect
