Core Manufacturing Process
1. Frame Formation Stage
The hull is constructed using a layered stacking method: 3mm poplar plywood is used for the base frame, and 0.8mm aircraft plywood is used for the rib structure.
The deck is assembled using laser-cut teak pieces, preserving the natural grain of the wood.
The superstructure is thermoformed using ABS panels, and the window frames are inlaid with etched copper pieces.
2. Detail Reproduction Process
Anchor chain system: 1:100 scale copper chain with magnetic powder brake for deployment functionality
Propeller: Five-axis machined brass components, with propeller blades polished three times
Radar system: 3D-printed resin components with chrome-plated surfaces
3. Dynamic system integration
Steering system: Micro servo motors paired with polyurethane drive belts
Lighting system: Fiber optic light guides simulate navigation signal light sequences
Smoke effect: Medical-grade glycerin misting device concealed within the smokestack
Specialized material solutions
Metal components: Ship nails made from pure copper turned parts, with rust effects achieved through sulfurization oxidation treatment
Transparent Components: Portholes feature crystal resin-embedded laser-etched window frames
Special Texture: Anti-slip deck uses fine-grit diamond sand mixed with matte clear varnish
Rope System: Hemp rope treated with wax and braided, with a diameter tolerance of ≤0.05mm
Painting and Weathering Process
1. Base Coating
Primer: Marine-grade epoxy primer (three-coat cross-spray application)
Topcoat: Acrylic polyurethane marine paint applied with color-separated spraying
Waterline treatment: Laser-positioned masking tape for boundary marking
2. Special effects
Rust effects: Layered application of mineral pigments mixed with rust powder
Saltwater corrosion: Enamel paint staining combined with salt corrosion techniques
Oil stain marks: Accumulation of transparent resin mixed with oil paint pigments
3. Protective Treatment
Overall application of UV-curable protective paint
Anti-oxidation isolating agent applied to metal components
