1、 Core skeleton: Craftsmanship replication of traditional mortise and tenon craftsmanship
The soul of a model lies in its stable and intricate framework structure. We have abandoned simple modern bonding techniques and instead deeply borrowed the essence of ancient Chinese architecture - mortise and tenon structures. Experienced masters use specially designed small tools to cut precise tenons and mortises from high-quality wood based on proportionally scaled drawings. During the construction process, there is no need for a single iron nail, relying entirely on the concave convex interlocking between wooden components, layer by layer, and rigorous assembly. This technique not only ensures the overall stability and durability of the model, but also perfectly reproduces the wisdom essence of ancient architecture that "walls collapse but houses do not collapse". It is particularly worth mentioning that the lifting angle of each eave has been repeatedly adjusted, with smooth and tense lines, as if it is about to soar into the sky in the next moment, which is extremely dynamic and beautiful.
2、 Selected materials: dual pursuit of texture and detail
In order to perfectly present the different textures of ancient architecture, we carefully selected two main materials: high-quality wood and environmentally friendly resin.
Main structural materials: The main load-bearing and visual parts of the model, such as beams, columns, and railings, are all made of high-quality wood with delicate texture and clear texture. This type of wood has undergone strict screening and processing, making it stable and not easily deformed. Its natural warm texture and antique color tone establish a steady and elegant tone for the model.
Fine detail molding: For doors and windows, carvings, ridge animal kisses and other extremely exquisite details, we use high transparency environmental friendly resin materials. Resin materials have good plasticity and can clearly shape the patterns of window frames, door panels, and other subtle details. At the same time, its excellent transparency allows the model to emit a soft halo after installing micro lighting fixtures inside, greatly enhancing the visual hierarchy and artistic effect.
3、 The finishing touch: post-processing that gives the model vitality
The post-processing and coloring of the model are crucial steps in determining its final artistic expression, just like dressing up a bare faced beauty.
Base color treatment: Before formal coloring, we carefully polish and primer the surface of the wood to ensure even adhesion and fully display the natural texture of the wood.
Ancient coloring: Color is an important language for conveying the charm of ancient architecture. Our colorists refer to a large number of existing classic ancient architectural colors and use environmentally friendly and odorless high-end model specific paint for manual painting. The main wooden structure adopts a steady and atmospheric reddish brown color, which not only retains the natural texture of the wood, but also adds a sense of heaviness that has been accumulated over time; The stacked tiles are carefully depicted as deep gray black, with distinct corrugations and uniform color, appearing solemn and dignified. The harmonious and natural combination of colors reproduces the solemn and elegant style of ancient architecture.
Artistic embellishment: In order to add vitality and fun, we ingeniously handcrafted a miniature green plant inside the top fence. This dynamic emerald green instantly breaks the static feeling of the building and injects vitality into the entire work. The base of the model adopts a light gray color tone, with a simple and thick shape that steadily supports the entire building, symbolizing a solid foundation.
