Energy storage model production case: artistic restoration of modular lithium battery energy storage station

1、 Material selection and basic construction
main framework
Using ABS plastic board laser cutting to create a modular box structure, the 3mm thick board is seamlessly joined through mortise and tenon fasteners, simulating the industrial joints of a real energy storage cabinet. Pre coat the surface of the box with gray matte primer to enhance the adhesion of subsequent coloring.
Performance of core components
The battery module is made by stacking semi transparent acrylic sheets, with a 0.5mm interval between each layer to simulate the gap between battery cells
The cooling system is covered with etched copper mesh, and the surface is treated with oxidation to present a metallic texture
The circuit board is formed by UV glue dripping, and after curing, the printed circuit patterns are engraved
2、 Key points of process implementation
Layered assembly technology
Adopting an "inside out" assembly sequence: first fix the internal bracket structure, then install the battery units layer by layer, and finally package the outer shell. Use micro magnets to adsorb between each layer for easy maintenance and display in the future.
Surface treatment process
Using a spray pen gradient spraying technique to demonstrate the wear effect at metal joints
The heat dissipation holes are drilled and electroplated to enhance realism
Warning signs are printed with water stickers and treated with aged edges to simulate usage marks
Dynamic effect implantation
Embed LED light strips in the control panel position, simulate working state switching through micro switches, and the light presents a soft operation indication effect through the frosted panel.
3、 Artistic post-processing
Color scheme design
The main color scheme is industrial gray (RAL7035) paired with safety orange (Pantone 165C), with fluorescent green (Pantone 802C) accents at key seams to highlight the high voltage warning feature.
Old processing techniques
Using oil paint diluent for local stain rendering
Sandpaper polishing edges to create natural wear and tear
Air pump sprays metal powder to simulate oxidation and discoloration after long-term use
Scenario based presentation
Produce a cement base and cable model, simulate outdoor installation environment through epoxy resin encapsulation, and embed a magnetic instruction board into the base to display technical principle diagrams.
