1、 Material selection and processing
Main structural materials
Using 3mm thick lightweight PVC sheet to cut the main frame, balancing structural stability and detail depiction requirements.
Recycling plastic bottles and bottle caps, after cleaning, as raw materials for sorting garbage bins and small processing equipment, reflects the concept of environmental protection.
Fine steel wire mesh sprayed with matte silver, simulating the surface of a conveyor belt mesh; Cut pipes and chimneys with transparent acrylic sheets to enhance transparency.
Functional component materials
A micro motor drives the conveyor belt and is paired with a plastic gear set to achieve circular rotation; Copper wire pulley system is used to control the lifting and lowering of the compression device.
Resin clay mixed with sawdust shaping equipment valve and interface, LED light string embedded inside chimney, simulating the effect of incinerator fire.
2、 Production process flow
Framework construction
Draw a layout diagram at a scale of 1:80, laser engrave PVC base plates and wall components, and connect the main factory building through mortise and tenon joints. The classified garbage bin is bonded with hot melt adhesive between the bottle cap and the bottle body, and the surface is engraved with grooves indicating "recyclable" and "harmful".
Dynamic system assembly
The conveyor belt bracket is cut into shape with acrylic rods, and the steel wire mesh is fixed in sections to the pulley block. The motor speed is adjusted to ensure uniform conveying speed. The processing equipment pipeline adopts hot bending technology to bend acrylic pipes, and the interface is sealed with silicone to ensure overall continuity.
Detail depiction
Add micro display screen stickers (simulating data processing interface) in the control room, and use 0.5mm copper wire to make equipment operating rods. Laying dyed sponges in the landfill area to simulate soil, embedding fluorescent powder particles to simulate leachate, and enhancing the realism of the scene.
3、 Post processing and coloring
Basic coloring
The main equipment is sprayed with matte gray white primer, the sorting garbage bin is colored with orange matte paint, and the conveyor belt bracket is painted with silver metal paint. Green flocking powder is used to simulate lawns on the walls and floors, and light gray aged powder is sprayed on the edges to show signs of wear and tear.
Special effects processing
Paste white cotton fluff on the top of the chimney to simulate smoke, and use LED light strings to achieve a "firelight+smoke" linkage effect. Hand drawn rust stains with silver enamel paint at the pipeline interface to enhance the texture of industrial equipment.
Final debugging
Calibrate the tension of the conveyor belt to ensure no jamming; Adjust the valve angle with a micro screwdriver to make the pipeline run naturally and smoothly. The overall coverage of matte protective paint prevents color oxidation and enhances the durability of the model.
