1、 Material preparation

Main building materials: ABS board with a thickness of 3-5 millimeters is selected as the main building material. This material is hard in texture, easy to cut and shape, and can well present the outline and structure of buildings. For the windows of the building, transparent acrylic panels are used, which have high transparency and can simulate the effect of real windows.

Ground and greening materials: high-density foam board is used as the ground foundation, which is light and easy to cut. The greening section uses grass powder, turf paper, and small plastic plants of different colors and shapes. Grass powder is used to create large areas of grassland, turf paper can be used to create details such as the edges of the lawn, and small plastic plants are used for embellishment to increase the sense of layering.

Solar panel material: Silver metal foil or reflective stickers are used to make solar panels, which can simulate the metallic texture and reflective effect of solar panels.

Auxiliary materials: including white latex, 502 glue, art knife, sandpaper, tweezers and other tools. White latex is used for large-scale pasting, 502 glue is used for quick fixing and pasting of small parts, an art knife is used for cutting materials, sandpaper is used for smoothing edges, and tweezers are used for manipulating small parts.

2、 Production process

Architectural production: Based on the actual size and shape of the factory buildings, precise drawings are made on ABS boards, and then carefully cut with an art knife. For parts with curves or special shapes, a hot air gun can be used to heat and soften them before shaping. Splice the cut parts with white latex, and after splicing, compact them with heavy objects to ensure firm adhesion. When installing windows, use 502 glue to stick the transparent acrylic board to the corresponding position.

Ground and greening production: cut the high-density foam board into plates of the same size as the model base as the ground foundation. Use a pencil on the foam board to plan roads, grasslands, green areas and other areas. First, lay the grass section and evenly sprinkle the grass powder on the area coated with white latex. Gently press it to make it firm. For details such as the edges of the lawn, apply turf paper. Decorate small plastic plants according to the planned location and fix them with 502 glue.

Solar panel production: Cut silver metal sheets or reflective stickers into the shape of solar panels, neatly arrange and paste them in corresponding positions, and simulate a real solar panel array.

Overall assembly: Assemble the pre made components such as buildings, ground greening, solar panels, etc. according to the actual layout of the factory area, and fix them with white latex and 502 glue.

3、 Post processing coloring

Architectural coloring: Use model specific paint or watercolor pigments to color the building. Spray a layer of primer first to increase the adhesion of the pigment. According to the actual color of the building, match the corresponding colors for coloring, paying attention to the uniformity and layering of the colors. For the details of the building, such as door and window frames, small brushes can be used to depict them.

Overall decoration: Check all parts of the model and polish any uneven or flawed areas with sandpaper. Add some detailed elements, such as traffic signs on the road, small signs within the factory area, etc., using stickers or self drawing to further improve the model's fidelity.

Through the above production process, material selection, and post-processing, a solar power plant model with a restoration degree of about 90% can be created, allowing customers to intuitively feel the layout and characteristics of the plant.
